Weekend in Rothesay

Created by mum 15 years ago
Jayne came to Rothesay for the Linedance Festival Weekend with her friend, her mum, her aunt Jean, cousin Anne (Jean's daughter)and her granny Gillies (my aunt Norma). All stayed with me except aunt Norma who stayed with my aunt Nana (her sister in law). They were not just over for the dancing but to visit all the cousins, aunt Grace & uncle George (my mum and dad) and talk about all the things us adults done as kids and to hear what our parents got up too as well, which and gave young Jayne & co. a laugh. We all had fun together that weekend and showed the young ones all the places we played and where Jayne's gran brought her family to stay while visiting us when they were all little. At the dancing I couldn't take my eyes off Jayne at the linedancing and she got embarassed when I told her she could be World Champion material if she entered competitions. She was that good and a joy to watch as well as fun. Now when I go to the linedance events and hear the " Boys for Ballymore " being played I think of Jayne and a tears comes to my eyes. I will never forget that great weekend we all had it will be in my memory forever. Will not forget you! Auntie Grace
